Iceland is where my own
love story happened.
In 2018 I matched with the man who is now my husband. He was living in Iceland. Two and a half weeks later — before I'd ever heard his voice — I flew here for six days.
I planned nothing. He booked a cabin, then a camper. Snow in May, days of rain, one clear afternoon in Vestmannaeyjar. A week after I flew home, he quit his job and moved back to Estonia.
We live in Iceland now, with two kids. So when couples fly to a country they've never been to and marry someone they're sure about — I know exactly what that is.
